These last couple of days have been stressful for me because of shipping errors. I got an email yesterday that explained to me that I would not receive my thermometer the date I was supposed to. The thermometer that I ordered off of Amazon, delivery date has been pushed back due to a Wearhouse mix up. This effects my filming process in a major way because without it I cannot do anything until I get it. Instead, I networked with a couple of classmates and we shared our different thoughts and ideas for our films. We also shared helpful advice with each other in hopes of helping each other out. For an example, I got advice on different editing programs that I had never heard of before. One of them being Capture one. This professional editing software has multiple high tech accessories that would put my project over the top. One accessory in particular is the "dehaze" effect. This feature allows editors to adjust the focus and darkness in a shot all at once. There's also a color control feature where you can make your own color to perfection. They provide a color grid where you can pick any and every shade of any color to make it perfection.  There is also a skin editing feature that makes shots come to life. The process smiley blinds an actor with the surrounding background. This is important to make my film visually pleasing. There is a sharpening feature where it produces high quality shots while stopping distortion. Overall, I feel that I'm ready to film but just don't have all the materials. I'm hoping that my thermometer comes in soon so I can get started.
