Over these last few days, I've been physically scouting out my different film locations. On Saturday, I went to the Miramar reginal park to see exactly what I need. While driving in, I found out that the playground side of the park closes at 7:30 p.m. Which allowed me to make a mental note that any scenes that need a playground would have to be filmed before that time. I also found out that the restrooms are closed due to Covid at the park. This means that I had to change my wardrobe, hair and makeup plans. I initially planned on having my actors arrive to the park then dress them appropriately in the bathrooms. I was then going to do their hair and make up in the car or under the pavilion. I will now instruct my actors to arrive at my house and we will to wardrobe there. Due to the new plan, I also had to implement new guidelines as far as health restrictions. Upon my actors arrival at my house, I will give them a questionnaire that they must fill out to get in. The questionnaire has 5 questions all based on the persons whereabouts in relation to Coivd-19 exposure. One question in particular question asks if the person has had a fever in the last fourteen days. As a extra precaution, I will temperature check all my actors with a IR style thermometer. I brought the D-380 IR thermometer from amazon for this precaution. The thermometer cost about 65 dollars on amazon and is supposed to arrive within the next 4 to 6 days. If I check one of my actors temperature and it comes back high, I will ask them to leave immediately. I will then ask them to quarantine until they can get a negative covid result test. That actors scene will then just be shoot a later date to ensure a healthy filming environment. I will take as many precautions possible to ensure that all my actors are safe and healthy.
