My Pitch

Since I am doing this task by myself, I had to come up with pitches surrounding things that I poses. My first pitch was a lighthearted pitch based on my dog. This pitch would've been recorded through my dogs point of view. It would've been concentrated on the time spent during quarantine. How fun it was for her to have her owners with her all day long. Then I would've documented how she felt now that we are starting to get back to regular life. I was going to use voice over as if I was inside my dogs head. Asking why her owners love her so much or why cuddling is their favorite thing to do.  My second pitch was a horror themed one. Within this pitch I am going to utilize a character playing a scary mythological creature playing the antagonist. This creature is going to go to the ends the earth to do destructive damage.  I planned on using myself and sister as actors tying to seek asylum from this killer creature. I plan on recording during nights at a host of different locations. Some of them being an eerie lake, sketchy woods and the supposed security of my own home. My main slogan is going to be " you may be lonely, but your truly never alone". I planed on utilizing hand held camera point of view for most of my pitch. I choose the horror themed pitch as the one I will use for my project. I want to do something out of my comfort zone and I feel that horror is just that. This pitch will allow for me to dive deep with my editing skills. I also feel that I will have a more enjoyable time with this pitch. I can't wait to get my scary on!!!
