 My thermometer has come in yet which means my filming process can't start. I went to physically scout out my backyard. I did this because I plan in having a scene shoot there. I made a list of all the things I needed my dad to do so  I can shoot the scene. I realized that I desperately needed my dad to pressure clean the dirty fence. I also noticed that he needed to cut the grass because it was unreasonably high. I realized I needed him to also pluck the weeds so the landscape could look pretty. I also did this to plan out the size of my filming space. I was able to mentally walk myself through my wanted set. In doing this exercise I noticed that I would need a tall camera stand. I say this because I want this scene to bee shoot at a higher angle than my height. I went and ordered a 24 inch camera pole off of Amazon. I did this order through Amazon prime in hopes that I wouldn't experience the issues I am with receiving my thermometer.  The pole would provide be higher camera angles that I wouldn't be able to get without it. I plan on using this pole in multiple scenes throughout my film. I plan on using it for aerial shoots in needed filming processed. I also plan on using it for low angle shots in needed instances. Instances like if I'm shooting on a platform are an example. I would use this pole to get a low angle point and clearer shot. I also just got an email that my thermometer is expected to come tomorrow. I really hope it does so i can start my process.
