Starting the Final Task Individual

 Hi, my name is Jalyn Flournoy, and I am a student in AICE Media Studies. I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School in the Cambridge program. When choosing classes this year, I was adamant on taking media studies for numerous reasons. Firstly, I heard from upperclassmen who recommended it for its insight in film making which inspired new hobbies for them. I also am exploring different career fields to see where my future should go. Lastly, I heard how fun yet insightful this course is.  I have thoroughly enjoyed media studies this year. Media Studies is the only class that I am taking where my creativity can be displayed in my work. Media studies has also given me knowledgeable information that I would not have if not for this course. Fortunately, time has come where we are staring our final task assignment for the ending of the year. I am personally choosing to work by myself for a couple of reasons. Obviously, Covid-19 pandemic has caused my to do at learn schooling. Unfortunately, this has posed a problem for me to meet and connect with my classmates. Therefore, leaving me with a situation where I am not familiar with my classmates in this class. Another reason for working by myself is to cut down on any possible exposure too the virus. If I were to work with my classmates, I would have to go within close proximity of them to complete this task. Even tough working by myself was a hard choice, I am completely motivated and capable of doing this project. I do think that it will pose some difficulty; however, I have support from my teachers. I have already brought a camera to ensure that this project is my best yet. I am excited to do this task and hope that it turns out well.
