Media Studies Music Video

                                                              

I really enjoyed this project for many reasons. Firstly, it's my favorite time of the year , Christmas. I'm also in love with holiday music. I knew from the moment the project was presented that I would do a song from Pentatonix. I love Pentatonix Christmas album and know every song. I chose silent night because it one of my favorites. I also chose silent night specifically for its slow tempo. I wanted a song slow enough so I could show all my figurines in detail. I knew that it I chose a fast pace song, my media would have to be the same pace as the tempo. I included my mom and dog in this video. I chose to do a cute snippet of me and my mom rocking our heads back and forth. That was my favorite clip in the video. Me and mom had to re-record 4 times because we couldn't keep a serious face.  We also had to do several take for the last scene. Me and my mother were in very joyous and funny spirts. Even though it took a little longer in the making of the video it was still very fun. The video was a fun activity to do in quarantine. I would definitely do something like this again. Hopefully next time I can have other people in it to spread even more joy. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
